Talkio GPTs: Language, French, and Spanish Conversation Tutors
Talkio provides three custom GPTs inside ChatGPT: a general Language Tutor, a French Tutor, and a Spanish Tutor. Each offers a focused place to request explanations, generate exercises, or practise a short exchange. They are convenient when you already use ChatGPT and want immediate help with a language question.
The GPTs and the full Talkio app serve different situations. A custom GPT is useful for flexible questions and quick text-led practice. Talkio is the dedicated option when your priority is sustained oral conversation and the language-learning experience provided by the Talkio platform. The three Talkio GPTs
Talkio Language Tutor supports a broad range of languages. Use it to request a level-appropriate explanation, generate practice questions, or set up a conversational scenario.
Talkio French Tutor focuses on French language and culture. It can help you explore usage, idiomatic expressions, grammar, and situations you may encounter in French-speaking contexts.
Talkio Spanish Tutor focuses on Spanish patterns and usage. Ask it to adapt an exercise to your level or to practise a scenario relevant to the variety of Spanish you are learning.
Prompts that produce useful practice
A specific request produces a more useful session than “teach me Spanish.” Include your approximate level, the skill you want to practise, and a clear task. For example: For privacy, accuracy, and responsible-use considerations, see UNESCO’s guidance for generative AI in education and research. For a closely related practice method, read how linguistic nuance changes meaning. For a step-by-step treatment of that skill, continue with multilingual communication strategies.

Avoid asking for an entire perfect script and then only reading it. Answer first, request feedback on the attempt, and repeat with a different detail. That sequence trains retrieval and adaptation.
When to use a GPT and when to use Talkio
Choose a Talkio GPT when you want an explanation, a quick drill, help creating examples, or a short role-play within ChatGPT. Choose Talkio when you want to make spoken interaction the center of the session and use the dedicated Talkio learning environment.
You can also combine the two. Use a GPT to understand a difficult pattern, write down two or three useful examples, and then open Talkio to use the pattern without reading from a script. The second step reveals whether the language is available during conversation rather than only recognizable on a page.
